CASA GASTÓN

Casa Gastón is a cultural destination
and artistic platform located on the
edge of the Uyuni Salt Flat.

Conceived from the vision of
Gastón Ugalde, the project connects
landscape, art and contemplation.

RESIDENCIES

The residency program at El Refugio is a collaboration between the Gastón Ugalde Foundation and El Refugio, bringing international artists, designers and creative practitioners to La Paz.

Residents have access to private accommodation, a studio workspace and shared areas designed to foster both focused artistic production and exchange.

ARCHIVE & RESEARCH

The Foundation preserves and catalogues
the artistic legacy of Gastón Ugalde while
supporting new research on contemporary
art practices.

EMERGENT AWARD

An initiative dedicated to supporting
emerging artists and fostering new
voices within contemporary art.
